Merrimack College player breaks 2 defenders ankles

School is in session and Merrimack College freshman Chloe Rothman is teaching us about breaking ankles.
Watch as this D-2 women’s college basketball player crosses-up two defenders, sending them on the floor. After the carnage, Chloe finds a wide open teammate under the hoop who proceeds to blow an uncontested lay-up. Even without the basket the damage was done and this play will forever haunt the defenders basketball careers. Somebody get a medic, we have 4 broken ankles on the court!

University of Connecticut Huskies coach Jim Calhoun to get surgery to help with lower back

Jim Calhoun continues to have issues with his health. It makes you wonder just how long he plans on coaching basketball.
“I’m glad we have finally determined the best course of treatment to deal with the problem,” Calhoun said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to having the procedure done, hopefully recovering as quickly as possible, and putting it all in the past.”
